Peter crouch scored the trademark volley to give england the perfect start at wembley playing Ukraine. The Crouch scored from a cross from lampard in the first half.(watch the crouch rope ).In the second half england slowed it down a little and let Ukraine back in and the old star man Andriy Shevchenko scored a good snapshot .England came back and left it late with five minutes remaining England skipper Terry pounced to grab all three points and make it five wins out of five during the current campaign.

The England captain, named man-of-the-match, scored the winner - it was his sixth goal in the Three Lions shirt - with only five minutes remaining after Andriy Shevchenko had cancelled out Peter Crouch’s early goal.

“I think we deserved the win overall,” said the 28-year-old, who was making his 51st appearance for England.
It was great to get the late goal and to come back and win the game.
It was a great header back from Stevie Gerrard and it was very satisfying to get the goal that gave us the win.
There were many positives to take from the game - I am delighted.
The lads showed great fight and desire when it got to 1-1. We wanted to push on and win the game.
It puts us in a great position and has set us up to win the group. We have two tough games coming up - against Kazakhstan and Andorra (in June) - but we will be hoping to take six points from them.”(boxofficegoal.com)
